Lola’s Cluck + Oink is a family-owned Filipino food stall inside Fresh and Local Market and Kitchens at 12445 Lake Fraser Dr SE in southeast Calgary. We are a short drive from Lake Bonavista, Canyon Meadows, Willow Park and Acadia, and we cook Filipino comfort food to order, Thursday to Sunday.

The name says what we grill. Cluck is our chicken inasal, marinated for 48 hours in soy, lime, ginger and lemongrass. Oink is our grilled pork, as Filipino street BBQ or tocino. Next to them on the menu: sisig (classic or creamy Manila), C-train (crispy pork in coconut cream with chillies and our house shrimp paste), kare kare with peanut sauce, T&B (tokwa’t baboy), and lumpia.

Round out a plate with Napa + Mango, kimchi we make ourselves, pickled cukes, green salad or dynamite fries, and take home a bottle of our Fire & Ice hot sauce, Chilli Garlic or Bagoong.
